Student 区 Council
The Student 区 Council (SDC) is a consolidated student government council of the five 阿拉莫大学. Our mission is to identify and address student concerns, 问题, and solutions with the administration. 集体, SDC Delegates strive to enhance the overall student experience for the district-wide student body.
Our purpose is to be the voice for the student body and provide opportunities for input in the 阿拉莫大学’ decision-making process to promote effective change for all 阿拉莫大学 students.
Student 区 Council (SDC) seeks to encourage student relationships and provide a means of communication among students, 教师, 工作人员, 和管理. The delegates of the SDC are committed to providing opportunities for students to become productive leaders on campus and within the community.

The membership of the Student 区 Council (SDC) comprises four executive board members and ten representatives known as delegates, two from each college of the 阿拉莫大学. The executive board consists of the SDC Chair, 秘书, 财务主管, and the 阿拉莫大学 Student Trustee.
Student 区 Council (SDC) Delegates elect the Chair, 秘书, and 财务主管 during annual elections held in the Fall. The 校董会 elects the Student Trustee. The respective college student body elects their Student Government Association (SGA) officers, and two of the SGA officers per college become the delegates of the SDC. The SDC operates under a governing document known as the SDC Constitution. The SDC Constitution outlines the fundamental structure and responsibilities of the Council. Under the Constitution, By-laws detail the operation and function of the assembly.
