We encourage you to speak with any of the math faculty to investigate which path is right for you.

什么是复习

数学 refreshers are designed to help you improve your math skills and take the placement test with renewed confidence. Refreshers are usually offered in a one-week format. You will work with a personalized computer program called ALEKS and will have an instructor available to answer whatever questions you have. This is ideal for students who have seen the material before, but just need a review. At the end of the last class you will take a placement test, which will tell you the exact course you are eligible to take. It may even be one of the college level choices! At the end of the refresher your instructor will guide you to your next step in the registration process which is group advising.

注意: You may choose to begin the ALEKS course outside of class to get a head start.

记住:

  • Your access to ALEKS only lasts for 6 weeks.
  • The initial assessment in ALEKS is a tool used to customize your learning plan. 这不是复试.
  • Only the final assessment in ALEKS will count as your retest grade.
  • The final assessment (retest) must be taken with your instructor on the last day of class.
